Summer Garden Cooking: An Explosion of Flavors and Colors

This week is all about celebrating Summer produce. Kids learn essential kitchen skills from cutting, chopping, mixing and measuring, seasoning, and plating, while being inspired by local icon Alice Waters. We make luscious stone fruit and berry compotes, bright salads and nourishing ratatouille. This camp is educational and delicious! Our main activities are our cooking projects, kids make and eat snacks and lunch together. We take care of it all, so no need to pack a lunch or beverages. Between cooking we have time for drawing, reading, and games. Weather permitting we may go on a nature walk to Fort Mason, Municipal Pier and Aquatic Park.
