Little Mission Musicians: Guitar, Piano and Vocal Summer Day Camp

Voice! Piano! Guitar! If your child has an interest in any or all of these, this camp is perfect for them! Perhaps they’ve played a bit of piano but want to train their voice better to sing while playing. Or maybe they’ve sung before but want to start playing guitar or piano. During camp, each child will receive voice, piano, and guitar instruction. Students will be split into groups based on prior experience and interests. Our talented faculty, all conservatory trained, will teach small groups and one-on-one allowing each child to enhance or gain the basic knowledge they need to jumpstart their musical journey, including: playing technique, basic music theory, music notation, plus ensemble and collaborative musicianship. Students with more experience in one particular area will also be matched with others into small ensembles and work towards performing as a group. All students will perform and impress family and friends at our Final Showcase on Saturday, June 27th at 10:30 AM.

Note: Previous Experience: No prior experience necessary! Students with a bit more
experience in one area will be grouped into smaller performing ensembles (duos or trios).

Showcase:
*Session 6 is the Final Showcase! Student drop-off and warm-ups start at 9:30 AM. Family and friends welcome to showcase starting at 10:30 AM!

Materials:
Students should bring each day: a pencil, a 3-ring binder for music, a refillable water bottle, and a bag lunch. Students who own guitars should bring their guitars and guitar picks each day. Little Mission Studio will have a few other practice guitars for use during the camp day.
