Monthly Saturday Cartooning Class for Teens

Saturday afternoon cartooning classes meet monthly from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center in SOMA at 275 5th Street (on 5th Street near Folsom). Students will learn a wide variety of skills in each class at a higher level of complexity than our monthly cartooning class for kids. Subjects range from character design to story-boarding to creating and publishing their own mini-comics.
drop off and pick up information
Parents/Guardians must sign the child in and out of class. Some parking is available in the neighborhood or at the 5th and Mission Garage.

To enter, security in the lobby will be able to direct you or push the intercom button to the left of the door to speak with security for entrance.

Drop ins are no longer possible with security at our new educational facility.

Please arrive at 1:00 pm to sign in your child or children. All children must be signed in and signed out by a guardian if they are under 18 for each class session that they attend. Due to building security at our new educational space no one will be able to be admitted into the class after 1:20pm.
Transportation information
The Powell BART and MUNI stop is the closest to our location. From there, walk down 5th Street until you see the Orange-red building. Students should not take public transit alone as a parent/guardian must be present for drop off and pick up.
